Information about fila3D.ca filaments
HIPS is the lightest and can be dissolved. HIPS (high-impact polystyrene) filament is commonly used with ABS. When used as a support material, it can be dissolved in d-limonene, which avoids marks caused by removing the support and leaves a clean, high-quality print. HIPS filament is more stable than ABS filament and slightly lighter, making it an excellent choice for parts that wear out or require a featherweight. HIPS filament is less likely to warp during printing than ABS filament and is ideal for painting, making it popular for miniature models and figurines.
