Information about fila3D.ca filaments
It is the most resistant to handling and modification, but it is more difficult to print. ABS filament is used for prints that will be subjected to frequent shocks, chemicals, or high temperatures. Its high durability enables prints to last over time. ABS filament is ideal for printed parts that require frequent handling and must be strong. ABS filament is renowned for its balance of impact and heat resistance. It is a material frequently used in everyday objects. Parts printed with ABS filament are strong and durable. We recommend using this filament for accessories such as cell phone and cup holders, as well as any other accessory that requires sanding and finishing. However, it is difficult to print with because it shrinks when cooled, which can cause printed parts to lift or develop cracks as the print height increases. Using a closed enclosure for printing is strongly recommended. Printing can be done quickly, and since it's fairly flexible, it tends to bend rather than break when subjected to pressure.
