PETG filament is as strong as ABS filament. It is made from a tough, thermoplastic polyester that is highly resistant to repetitive impact and durable. It also adapts better than PLA filament to higher temperatures. Its malleability allows for the creation of parts that can be deformed, bent, or cut without cracking or splitting. Since it is non-biodegradable and unaffected by UV rays, it can be used outdoors. PETG filament has excellent chemical resistance and emits low levels of VOCs and particulates during the printing process.
