At fila3D, we are committed to offering high-quality 3D printing products and services, including Bambu Lab printers, their accessories, and our filaments.

The purpose of this policy is to inform you of your rights and our return, exchange, and refund conditions, in accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

No return or exchange can be made without prior approval from fila3D (RMA form below). The procedure will be sent to you by email if necessary. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

This policy applies to all purchases made:

  • On the fila3D.ca website,
  • At our physical store,
  • At events or trade shows where fila3D is present.

It covers:

  • Bambu Lab printers and their accessories,
  • Spare parts and electronic components,
  • Filaments and other 3D printing products sold by fila3D,

Products from other brands sold by fila3D.

Certain products are not eligible for refund or exchange, except in the case of manufacturing defects or hidden defects, as provided for by the Consumer Protection Act:

  • Opened electronic products and consumable parts,
  • 3D printers (Bambu Lab or other brands),
  • Print heads, nozzles, belts, motors, or any electronic components that have already been used or installed,
  • Open or previously used filaments,
  • Clearance items, promotional items, or items sold at a final discount,
  • Gift cards,
  • Products damaged by misuse or abuse, or not complying with the manufacturer’s instructions.

All Bambu Lab printers sold by fila3D are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty in accordance with Bambu Lab’s official terms and conditions:

Warranty period:

  • 1 year from the date of purchase for most components.
  • Certain parts considered consumables (nozzles, print heads, belts, parts subject to normal wear and tear) may have limited coverage or be excluded from the warranty.

fila3D is committed to honoring the Bambu Lab warranty for printers sold by our company. This includes managing the warranty file and coordinating with the manufacturer to ensure effective follow-up.

What is covered

  • Manufacturing or material defects found during normal use and in accordance with Bambu Lab’s recommendations.
  • Repair or replacement of the defective part, depending on the manufacturer’s assessment and availability.

What is not covered

  • Damage caused by improper use, incorrect installation, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Use of firmware or accessories not certified by Bambu Lab.
  • Normal wear and tear of parts considered consumables.
  • Damage resulting from accident, impact, or improper maintenance.

⚠️ Repair costs
Although fila3D manages the warranty process with Bambu Lab, the costs of repair, maintenance, and replacement of parts not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty are entirely the responsibility of the customer.

Before any work is carried out, a quote will be provided and must be approved by the customer.

  • Bambu Lab printers and their components are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as well as the legal warranty provided by the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
  • Any problems must be reported to fila3D as soon as they are discovered.
  • A preliminary diagnosis may be required before a return or replacement is authorized.
  • If the printer has a major defect not attributable to misuse, it may be repaired or refunded, as applicable.

⚠️ Returns of printers due to a change of mind may be subject to a 15% restocking fee of the printer’s value, which will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase.

Return shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a prior agreement following diagnosis.

fila3D complies with Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and is committed to respecting consumer rights.

Legal warranty of quality

Under the CPA, all goods sold must:

  • Conform to their description and be fit for their intended use,
  • Be durable and safe,
  • Be free from hidden defects.

This legal warranty applies automatically, at no cost, and cannot be excluded by a merchant or manufacturer.

In the event of a problem, the consumer may request:

  • A repair,
  • A replacement,

Or a refund, depending on the nature of the defect.

The law does not require a merchant to accept returns or exchanges for a simple change of mind.

However, fila3D may accept, under certain conditions, returns of unopened products in perfect condition within 5 days of receipt, except for the excluded categories mentioned above.

⚠️ Returns due to a change of mind may be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the printer’s value, which will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase.

Return shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

fila3D reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order if it is deemed suspicious or fraudulent.

In the event of a transaction identified as fraudulent:

  • The order will be automatically canceled without notice.
  • If payment has already been received, a refund will be issued only after full verification and, if necessary, communication with the financial institution concerned.
  • fila3D may require supporting documents (ID, proof of address, etc.) to confirm the legitimacy of the transaction before shipping the products.
  • Any fraud or attempted fraud will be reported to the appropriate authorities and may result in legal action.

This policy is designed to protect our customers and our company from financial loss and illegal activities.

    • Date of purchase
    • Description of the problem
    • Photos or videos, if necessary
  3. Wait for authorization and return instructions.

Ship the product in its original packaging to the address provided.
